You know guys I’m thinking this story is a little fishy
Could this be a response to the little woman to cover a few hours at the local watering hole? Mike come on with the real story. We know you’re a better fisherman than that.
You can tell us. Been there done that and most likely do that again. LOL
Just kidding. BUT I think I’d tell this story rather then getting skunked

I have a good gas auger that allows me to drill 12" of ice in about 10 seconds.

37 holes in 3 hrs .. cant say you didnt move around ...know the feeling of a skunking. Sometimes you are on fish but gettin them to hit is a different story. What bait did you use? How deep were you fishin? Etc.. let's learn something from this. I may report the same after tomorrows Greenwood lake attempt.,where I have trouble sometimes finding fish.

I am still trying to figure out how to fish for Redear. I have not had much luck with them. The seem to be pretty smart.
Do you have tricks you would like to share on catching these guys?
Did you happen to get the weight of any of these fish?
They fight just like a big bluegill. I am told you can eat them but haven't tried yet. The ones we caught today went to a friend who has a pet shop. I wouldn't mind trying them though. They are local to south Texas and I would imagine that they eat…
Bank access has improved since they began stocking trout back in the late 90's. As of now State regs require a trout license to fish it during the season ($10). If you plan to launch a boat you will need a permit. Not sure about other options as far…
