How about GS X PS?

If someone asked me I'd say definitely a hybrid, but with pumpkinseed genes scattered around in their somewhere. Of course I've been known to be wrong and I'll be the first one to admit it. Sunfish don't exactly conform to the "Ten commandents." Esp…

Its a very nice pumpkinseed

Hmmm . Even Poor Richard has a second thought now and then. This fish has coloration somewhat similar to Joe Tomelleri's Pumpkin Seed in "Fishes of the Central United States" (Tomelleri, as you all know, is the foremost fish illustrator in the world…

Awesome job Tim! Would love to get you a giant Hybrid to mount. Attached is an article regarding a potential new Missouri state record White Bass which was caught a couple weeks ago. It weighed 6 lbs. 2 oz. It was caught below Bagnell Dam at Lake o…

All I can say is again and again and again Tim steps up higher with a new touch of perfection.

Tim- Absolutely stunning work! The White Bass is our state fish here in Oklahoma. I have caught tons of them. I have to say it is my favorite fish (next to Sunfish of course).
July 13
That's a live fish that Tim just caught! An Incredible reproduction. See this is what a mounted fish should look like! There is just so much bad work out there that people are happy with.

Shockingly realistic.

Yet another stunning piece of work! Wow!

Free Replica Fish List

Any angler that catches a fish in the sizes listed or bigger and delivers it to me can receive a FREE replica of your fish. After receiving your trophy, I will make a mold of your fish and from the mold,, I will make a replica. This is called a custom cast, an exact copy of the fish you caught. In my opinion, this is the ultimate mount to represent your trophy verses a skin mount (taxidermy). I've had over 20 years of experience in taxidermy and only do replicas now. There are many benefits to a replica. There is no shrinkage, the anatomy is much more accurate, they are very durable, and they will last many, many years!
The fish has to be in good condition and without deformities. Taking a picture of the fish will help me determine if it qualifies. After catching the fish, handle it carefully and freeze it ASAP. Wrap it in 2 plastic bags before freezing. The better the condition of the fish, the better the replica. Email me at reeltrophyfish@aol.com or send me a PM on this forum.
The following sizes or bigger is good for a free custom cast mount.......
Longear Sunfish - 8 inches
Green Sunfish - 9 inches
Warmouth - 9 inches
Redbreast Sunfish - 10.5 inches
Pumpkinseed Sunfish - 10.5 inches
Bluegill Sunfish - 11 inches
Rock Bass - 12.5 inches
Redear Sunfish (shellcracker) - 13 inches
Yellow Perch - 14 inches
Black Crappie - 15.5 inches
White Crappie - 16 inches
White Bass - 17.5 inches
Sizes will be updated as fish are caught.

3 pound Crappie restoration

This is a 3 pound Black Crappie Replica done by (I'm guessing) an Illinois taxidermist.

Not to bad but the owner wanted a tune-up, so I volunteered.

After replacing the pectoral fins, pelvis fins, eye, rebuilding the other fins, tail broke off as I was taking it out of the box so I put that back on right side

1947 World Record Bluegill

I wanted to find the biggest bluegill blank (an unfinished replica) I could find.
I ended up purchasing this blank that was listed as 16-inches, 4 5/8 pounds, 1947 world record bluegill....
This is what it looked like out of the box.

After examining it I determined it was molded from a skin mount and was prob… Continue

Enjoy that Trophy Forever

I love catching sunfish. There's hardly any other warm water species of fish that look as brilliant in the sunlight. And table fare, one of the best! And talk about putting up a fight, like fighting a cast iron skillet with fins!!!

My love for sunfish has brought me here to offer you all a chance at catching a trophy sunfish and keeping it forever.

If you catch a bluegill 11-inches or bigger, a shellcracker 13-inches or bigger or a pumpkinseed 10.5-inches or bigger I will make a replic… Continue
