That is astonishing work. I am an airbrush artist (sorta) and am in awe of the talent it takes to make these look so real. Any tips or books or videos you would recommend to get one started ?

This photo is perfect for making a great print. The composer of it is perfect using all the guide lines that the pro photographers use. When a photo amazes the viewer it is good. Tim is a real artist and it also shows in his photography.

1947 World Record Bluegill

I wanted to find the biggest bluegill blank (an unfinished replica) I could find.
I ended up purchasing this blank that was listed as 16-inches, 4 5/8 pounds, 1947 world record bluegill....
This is what it looked like out of the box.

After examining it I determined it was molded from a skin mount and was prob… Continue

Enjoy that Trophy Forever

I love catching sunfish. There's hardly any other warm water species of fish that look as brilliant in the sunlight. And table fare, one of the best! And talk about putting up a fight, like fighting a cast iron skillet with fins!!!
My love for sunfish has brought me here to offer you all a chance at catching a trophy sunfish and keeping it forever.
If you catch a bluegill 11-inches or bigger, a shellcracker 13-inches or bigger or a pumpkinseed 10.5-inches or bigger I will make a replica of the f… Continue

JimG told me to go have a look at your site. I'm the guy pictured with the perch. Former fish biologist. Former aquatic ecologist. Now teach flyfishing 'smarter, not harder.' The rig you see is Version 8.0 of what some have called "The Tip Do(w)n."…

Recent Pond Boss thread on shrimp - http://www.pondboss.com/forums/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=208625&fpart=1 I believe the best way to catch them is with a net or seine. Pretty cool picture of a PK shrimp.

ur lucky- i went fishin 2day after the first week in the 60's. I got skunked. The fish in there were either biting, or they werent there. I think all of them were still deep in the middle of the lake. the extreme wind didn't help much, either.
