- I have a Vexilar FL-12 and a Marcum LX2. Both are equally good at finding fish, figuring out the mood of fish and giving depth readings. I call them fish mood indicators. I'm 6'4" 245 so I wait for 5 to 6 inches and never press my luck. Unfortunately my hands are also giant so my fish always look small. Oh well. Ice fishing is my favorite type of fishing! Unfortunately Our season is very short since we are on the edge of the ice belt in SE Nebraska.

- thoes are realy nice fish youv'e cought. i think the thing that has all thoes colorfull led lights is a fishfinder (and tells depth). i think the logo is humming brid or something. how thin was the thinest ice you've ever gone out on?

- I used to have a couple pictures of my big gill but we lost all family pictures on June 3rd 1980 due to getting 100% wiped out by a tornado. That was one hell of a night!!

I use power pro specifically for spinning reels. It does a fantustic job. I even put it on my bait casters for a test and when I hit a my motor by accident and flipped a HUGE Bird nest I had it picked with in 2 min being very gentle. It works great…

Last week the weather was warm and the fish were in 6-8 feet of water. Yesterday there was a cold front and the fished moved out to the mouth of the bays and were suspended off ledges in 30 ft. of water!
