Arizona question is good question! I like to know why! Maybe warm water almost all year around, deep, clear water and good number of bass = big bluegills like San Digeo lakes but Arizona get less fishing pressure than San Diego .... just my guess!

To the Arizona question from Jim... I still wonder if the AZ BG was a pure BG. It was 3 lb. 15.68 oz. 15.75 in., Goldwater Lake, caught 5/2/04. Oddly, the record RES is 3 lb. 9.0 oz. 14.5 in., caught from same lake in 8/12/93. Nothing close has come…

Patrick -Go get them Gills today and good luck.I got some near bottom between noon and 4 yesterday and then up in the column for the last hour between 4-5.Was fishing 12-15 ' of water.Shallow lake .The other day I was getting them in 20' near bottom on another lake.

Big 'gils are overlooked here but, still hard to come by! I have a few spots....

Nope, no pond! It would have to be at least 9 acres and a minimum of 20 feet deep for anything to survive the winters up here. I'm 111 miles for Canada!
What state are you from? This can help us get together for fishing trips!

I'm wondering now. If it could have been mixed up with some of my flathead minnows. I last stocked them back in late spring. Sharon to answer your question I released him back to fattin up and catch again. Don't know why my bass hadn't eaten him yet.
